This page explains in plain language which data this platform keeps, why we do so and how long we keep it.
Who is responsible?
The AIAT association runs this platform and is responsible for processing your data. Ask your questions via the contact page.
Which data do we keep?
We only keep what is needed to organise events. Here you find the purpose and retention period per type of data.
| Data | Purpose | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
| Account: name, e-mail, address, phone | Signing in, contact about your registrations | Until you delete your account |
| Registrations: horses, carriage, answers, scores | Taking part in events and the competition calculation | By default 3 years after the event, then anonymized |
| Insurance details | Checks by the organiser when you take part | Until you clear them or delete your account |
| Payments (via Mollie) | Handling subscriptions and organiser fees | Per the statutory bookkeeping period |
| Audit log and e-mail log | Security, detecting abuse, fixing errors | Audit log 24 months by default, e-mail log 12 months |
What is publicly visible?
Only what you enter yourself as public info on a registration, plus start lists and results of published events. Showing your name on a big screen needs your separate consent.
Who else processes data?
Hosting runs at our hosting partner in the EU. Payments go through Mollie. We never sell data to third parties.
Your rights
You manage almost everything yourself on your profile page:
- Access and portability: download all your data as JSON or PDF.
- Rectification: edit your data yourself on your profile.
- Erasure: delete your account yourself. Your data is then anonymized; results remain without your name.
- Complaint: you can always contact the Data Protection Authority.
